How does Subscribe with Mike Albert work?

Members use the Subscribe with Mike Albert app to request their next vehicle, including when and where they would like it delivered. A Subscribe concierge will deliver the fresh vehicle and ensure you’re all set to go. Our goal is to ensure a smooth process so you can get back on the road.

What is included in a Subscribe with Mike Albert subscription?

Every Subscribe with Mike Albert subscription includes rights to a selection of a vehicle, mileage tier, insurance coverage, and all routine maintenance. Want to switch out your vehicle? You can swap after two weeks in a vehicle with a one-time fee of $25 OR swap after 30 days in a vehicle for free. The Subscribe concierge team delivers thoroughly cleaned, fully gassed vehicles to your location on your time, and takes care of all maintenance and repairs between swaps to ensure your travels are safe.

You can select any of the four mileage tiers available for each membership plan, ranging from 1500 to 3000 miles per month. Unused miles can be banked for use up to 3 months. Any additional miles beyond your tier limit plus your banked miles amount will cost a small fee ($0.25/mile). For example, if you start the month with your original 1500 miles and a bank of 500 miles from the previous month, then you drive 2500 miles by the end of the month, you will have to pay for the 500 miles driven beyond your starting 2000 (original + banked).

What vehicles are included with Subscribe with Mike Albert?

Subscribe by Mike Albert Rental offers sedans, mid size SUVs, large SUVs, luxury vehicles and EVs from the past two model years. Want to switch between vehicles? Simply schedule a swap!

How does insurance work?

Vehicles provided in the program are insured on a fleet insurance policy held by Mike Albert. All approved drivers are covered by the policy, which includes:

- Automobile Liability Coverage ($300,000 combined single limit)

- Uninsured Motorists Bodily Injury/Property Damage ($300,000 combined single limit)

- Auto Medical Payments ($2,000)

- Automobile Physical Damage (subject to $1,000 deductible)

How long can I keep a vehicle?

Up to a full year. However, when a vehicle has been with a member for many weeks, we might need to ask for it back so that we can do routine tasks like preventive maintenance. In that case, we’ll swap you into a fresh vehicle that is similar to the one you have. In practice, most members swap regularly and enjoy doing so!

How new are the vehicles?

We strive to ensure our inventory consists only of models released in the last two years. Vehicles are detailed before and after use so they feel like new!

How do referrals work?

If you are a current Subscriber who refers someone that completes the sign-up process and is approved for the program, you will receive a $100 credit towards your membership plan.

How do I join Subscribe with Mike Albert?

Download our app here and hit “Sign Up," then follow the instructions to create an account. You will need to provide a credit card, select a plan and provide a picture of your driver’s license. We will verify your information and check your driving history, and we may need to speak with you during that process.

In most cases, we can approve an application within one business day. Once you're approved, we will contact you to get you started and schedule your first delivery!

Is Subscribe with Mike Albert in my area?

Today, Subscribe with Mike Albert is live in Cincinnati, Ohio, and operates within a 75-mile radius from our flagship Evendale rental location. Your home residence must be within 75 miles of our Evendale rental location in order to qualify for the program. However, vehicles must be delivered within a 25-mile radius from our Evendale rental location. If you’re outside of our service area, sign up for news and updates and we will let you know when we arrive in your city.

Who is eligible?

Anyone 21 or over with a valid license and clean driving record.

What is the Subscribe with Mike Albert activation fee?

The activation fee of $500 is required for all new Subscribe with Mike Albert memberships. The fee is non-refundable and charged when your first delivery is scheduled.

What if the vehicle I want isn't available?

Because our inventory and the total number of Subscribers is consistently fluctuating, there are times when certain vehicles are not available for new Subscribers to select. In the event your vehicle of choice is unavailable at the time you sign up, we will put you in the most similar vehicle we have until your vehicle of choice is available. As soon as that vehicle is available again, we will swap you directly into it free of charge.

Everyday Usage

How well-equipped are the vehicles?

A backup camera, Bluetooth connectivity, and cruise control are guaranteed with each vehicle. Additional features may vary.

Are pets allowed in vehicles?

We do allow pets in the vehicles, but they must be transported in a carrier. It is better for the car and safer for your furry friend!

What happens if my vehicle needs repair?

Our goal is that you will never have to worry about maintenance or repair issues. If something unforeseen occurs, use the Subscribe app to notify us and we will get you back driving!

What happens if I get into an accident?

First, make sure that everyone is safe. Once you're sure your vehicle is in a safe place, notify the police and await their arrival. Exchange information with the other parties and, once the situation is stabilized, give us a call. We will bring you a fresh vehicle and handle everything with respect to the vehicle involved in the incident.

How much advance notice is required for a swap?

We ask for a minimum 72-hour notice in order to ensure the best service.

Do I tip the concierge?

Subscribe with Mike Albert does not allow tipping. Concierge delivery is part of the overall member experience and is included with the monthly subscription. If you have an exceptional concierge experience, please reflect it in the service rating or let our team know so we can recognize our excellent staff members.

Pricing & Payment

Where can I find the insurance card?

View a digital version of your insurance card under "Your current ride" on the home screen of your Subscribe app. Hard copies of the insurance card can also be found in the glovebox.

What about fuel?

All Subscribe with Mike Albert cars are delivered with a full tank of gas. If you swap a vehicle without a full tank, your concierge will refill the vehicle and add the charge to your account following your swap.

When is payment due?

A valid credit card is required during sign up. Your first payment will be charged when we confirm delivery of your vehicle. Subsequent payments will be charged on a monthly basis, in advance of the upcoming month of service. Any additional charges for gas or upgrades will be charged as soon as the swap is complete.

What is the minimum commitment to Subscribe with Mike Albert?

Subscribe with Mike Albert is a monthly subscription service. Pay for the first month to give it a try, then your subscription will renew automatically each month unless you decide to cancel. If you ever want to cancel, just let us know and we will end your subscription after your currently paid month has expired.

Can I move between the different plans?

Yes, members can move between plans at any time. Your monthly payment will be prorated. We require that members moving to a lower-cost plan have been on their current plan for at least one month.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes! To pause your Subscribe with Mike Albert account, simply pay a one-time $100 fee to maintain your account for the length of your pause period. The pause period is at your discretion and not limited to any minimum or maximum number of days. This prevents you from being charged the activation fee again when your account leaves the pause period and re-enters regular use. Your account will remain in good standing for the duration of the pause period unless program eligibility requirements are no longer met.

How do I operate the charge port?

Push the button on the Tesla charging connector to open your charge port. You can also open the charge port from the car’s touchscreen or by pressing on the port cover when your car is unlocked. White color indicator means your car is ready for charging. After plugging in, a blue color indicator means your car is preparing to charge. When the indicator turns green, charging is in-progress.

Terms of Use

Is there a mileage limit or swap limit per month?

Swaps are available every two weeks for a fee and every 30 days for free. The base mileage allowance per month is 1,500 miles, but Subscribers may select one of the three higher mileage tiers (2,000, 2,500 or 3,000). Unused miles may be banked for use for up to 3 consecutive months. Miles used beyond the original allowance plus any banked miles will cost a small fee ($0.25/mile). Can anyone else drive the vehicle?

Yes, eligible drivers may be registered as Additional Drivers and added to the member’s account.

Are members responsible for their Subscribe with Mike Albert car?

Yes, we expect our members to take care of Subscribe with Mike Albert vehicles as if they owned them. Please drive responsibly, keep your vehicle clean, and let us know of any minor dings or spills via the Subscribe app.

What is the condition of Subscribe with Mike Albert vehicles?
